In a live wildfire simulation conducted in Portugal, the noignis flame retardant has proven its effectiveness once again — this time under real-world conditions.

48 hours before ignition, a 150 m² section of dense Mediterranean scrubland was coated with noignis. Despite strong wind and dry vegetation, the fire’s progression slowed dramatically upon reaching the treated area.

Key Result:

  • Flame spread was reduced by approx. 60% in the treated zone.

  • The test confirms noignis' long-lasting protective effect — even after two days of exposure to outdoor conditions.

  • The test was overseen by CEIF (Forest Fire Research Center, Portugal), with video documentation captured by drone for analysis.

  • We’re proud to contribute to the development of safe, sustainable solutions in wildfire prevention.
