We’ve just completed new foam spray tests—and the results mark a major step forward for noIgnis in both performance and sustainability. Watch the videos here:
What the tests show
Foaming & cling: Works at low, medium, and high expansion with standard foam equipment. The foam adheres to vertical surfaces for a long time, helping to smother heat and reduce re-ignition.
Wetting & deep penetration: Strong wetting ability lets the agent penetrate deep into porous materials, speeding up knock-down and preventing early re-starts—from vegetation and building materials to plastics, tires, landfill fires, and vehicle fires.
Fuel fires (Class B): Effective on hydrocarbon fires such as diesel, kerosene, and gasoline—ideal for vehicle fires.
Corrosion inhibition (nitrate-free): Features a nitrate-free additive package with a strong inhibition effect against metal corrosion.
Environment: Harmless to the environment and fully biodegradable. Lower water use can also reduce post-incident cleaning and water damage.
System compatibility: noIgnis is a wetting and foaming additive for Class A fires (wildland, urban, industrial) and is compatible with CAFS (Compressed Air Foam Systems).
Standards: EN 1568-1 / 1568-2 / 1568-3.
Foam quality (indicative)
Low expansion: < 7×
Medium expansion: > 60×
High expansion: > 700×
